Terms of Service
Last updated: 3 October 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and NetizenSurvey (“we”, “us”) for using netizensurvey.com. By using the site you accept them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
1. What NetizenSurvey is
NetizenSurvey is a public opinion site. Anyone can vote on polls and see the combined results. People with an account can also create polls, keep a watchlist and see the polls they voted on. On “open” polls, visitors suggest answers and upvote the best ones.
2. Who can use it
You must be at least 13 years old, and old enough under the laws where you live to agree to these terms. If you use the site for an organisation, you confirm you may accept these terms for it.
3. Your account
- Give a real email address you control, and keep your password private.
- You are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us at [email protected] if you think someone else has used it.
- One person, one account. You may ask us to delete your account at any time.
4. Voting fairly
Results are only useful if they are honest. You agree not to:
- vote more than once on a poll, for example by clearing cookies, using several browsers, devices or accounts, or using scripts or bots;
- hide or fake your location to vote on a poll that is limited to one country or region;
- buy, sell or trade votes, upvotes or reports, or report content just to get it hidden;
- interfere with the site — for example by overloading it, probing it for weaknesses, or getting around its rate limits or other protections.
We use limits and checks against this. We may remove votes, suggestions or accounts that we reasonably believe break these rules.
5. What you post
Polls, descriptions, options and suggested answers you post are your content. You are responsible for them, and you confirm you have the right to post them. Do not post content that is illegal, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, violent, misleading on purpose, spam or advertising, links, or other people’s private information.
So that we can run the site, you give NetizenSurvey a worldwide, free, non-exclusive licence to host, display, share and adapt (for example, translate or show in previews and share images) the content you post, for as long as it is on the site. Polls and their results stay public so that votes others have cast are not lost.
6. Moderation
Anyone can report a suggested answer; if enough different people report it, it is hidden until we review it. We may edit, hide, merge or remove polls and suggestions, and limit or close accounts, when we believe it is needed to keep the site fair, safe and legal. We are not required to monitor everything posted, and content on the site is not our endorsement of it.
7. What results mean
NetizenSurvey polls show what the people who chose to vote said. They are not scientific surveys, are not weighted to represent any population, and can be affected by who happens to visit. Use them for information and discussion — not as professional, financial, medical, legal or political advice.
8. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect and how we use it. Public results never show how a person voted.
9. Availability and changes to the service
We are improving NetizenSurvey all the time. Features may change or stop, and the site may sometimes be unavailable. We may close the service; if we do, we will try to give notice on the site first.
10. No warranty
The site is provided “as is” and “as available”. As far as the law allows, we make no promises that it will be error-free, uninterrupted or that results are accurate or complete.
11. Limitation of liability
As far as the law allows, NetizenSurvey is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of data, profit or reputation, arising from your use of the site. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
12. Ending your use
You can stop using the site at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will change the date at the top, and for important changes we will make it clear on the site. If you keep using the site after a change, you accept the new terms.
